eRAMP/MERS Testing Window Is Closing Soon!
Posted by Ernie B on 15 June 2018 11:36 PM
We're emailing all eRAMP customers to remind you, if you have not started testing your eRAMP software with MERS ICE Data Center please start testing immediately!

Here at Cyberlink Software Solutions, Inc. we've tested eRAMP version 10.8 and above using Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. Windows 7 is not recommended and should be upgraded to Windows 10 prior to testing. All testing including SFTP batch processing for Registration, Transfer of Rights, other batch processing transaction types and XML Online Registration have been successfully tested. With only changes to the SFTP Host IP Address and URL for Online Registration from eRAMP's Settings>Client screen files were successfully submitted to the new MERS ICE Data Center. eRAMP does not require an update to be able to submit transactions to the new ICE Data Center.

We cannot stress this enough; all eRAMP users should have started or should start testing by submitting loans to MERS ICE Data Center Immediately. If you have questions or would like our assistance please submit a ticket from our online Client Resource Center at https://www.oncyberlink.com/client-resource/.

Thank you,

eRAMP Customer Support

Looking Ahead: MERS® Systems Migration Weekend Sept. 14–16

The window to complete MERS® Systems migration testing is closing as we prepare to move our data center on September 14–16, 2018.

As stated in prior communications, we are scheduled to complete migration testing by June 29, 2018.  If your organization needs to ensure its continued access to the MERS® Systems after our migration to the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) Data Center in September, and you haven’t already completed testing, please contact the ICE migration team at mers.support@theice.com as soon as possible.  We would like to thank those MERS® System Members who have completed testing and are prepared to make a successful transition.

Looking ahead… we will offer a webinar on various dates that will outline our migration weekend schedule and discuss hotline information that will provide Members with status updates throughout migration weekend.  In the meantime, we encourage your organization to consider and plan for the following migration milestones:

  • MERS® Systems blackout period: September 1–25, 2018. We will not perform non-standard transactions (e.g. work orders, custom reports) during the blackout period.
  • MERS® Systems offline period: September 13–16, 2018. The MERS® Systems will not be available for inquiry or transaction processing during the offline period. We will contact your organization if we need to re-schedule reports (e.g. MRE) or other activities currently scheduled to run during the offline period.

Please ensure your MERS® System contacts are up to date so you receive upcoming announcements and time-sensitive information. And remember, you can get the latest information about the migration any time by visiting the MERS® System Migration to ICE page on our Member website.

If you have any questions about the migration process, please contact the ICE migration team at mers.support@theice.com or (770) 999-4549.

eRAMP Testing Setup for MERS ICE Data Center Testing
Posted by Ernie B on 13 June 2018 11:32 PM
This article is our fourth regarding eRAMP testing with MERS new ICE Data Center. The other three articles dealt with our internal testing with the ICE Migration Team. In article #3 6/11/2018 we announced eRAMP testing for SFTP and XML Online registration had been successfully completed and the next step was for our users to test their eRAMP connectivity with ICE.

Testing your eRAMP connectivity and ultimately converting to the new MERS ICE Data Center will be easy and will not require an update to your eRAMP software. There are only two changes you have to make on your eRAMP Client Setup screen, see screen shot below. The first change to test SFTP connectivity is to change your SFTP Host IP Address. The ICE Migration team provided a nice handout with details about testing and moving to MERS live production environment when the time comes. If you have not received this handout it is available from MERS website in the User area. For your convenience we have also setup the handout on our website. Click this link if you would like to download this PDF document now. IP addresses for testing and production setup along with URL listings for using XML Online Registration are detailed in MERS migration info sheet. Follow the instructions starting section IV. Upcoming Technical Changes at ICE page five for required IP Addresses and URLs for testing and production setup.

The second change you will have to make if you are using XML Online Registration is to the URLs. If you are going to test your current working eRAMP software be sure to save a copy of the current URL you are using to connect to MERS current system. If you lose the URL for the current XML Online Registration system click this link to download our XML info sheet. From MERS ICE Migration info sheet copy the URLs to test both production and training/test systems. Since both systems are setup for testing submitting loans into either system will not result in real loan activity. If you are not currently setup to use MERS XML Online Registration system you will get an error when you try to submit loans. MERS XML Online registration system is a great system for quick and easy registration. When combined with eRAMP we think you will agree there's no better way to submit a bunch of loans to MERS. If you are not using XML to register your loans; why not? Download the XML Info Sheet above for complete instructions to get you started.

The screen shot below show the only two fields that need to be changed to test your eRAMP. Check with MERS ICE Migration team to see if they will issue you new temporary password for SFTP and XML Online Registration; mers.support@theice.com. For our testing we were setup to use our current passwords.

Our eRAMP testing went well so we expect you will have the same results. If you would like our assistance testing your eRAMP software please submit a ticket from our Client Resource Center: https://www.oncyberlink.com/client-resource/.

eRAMP MERS ICE Migration Update #3
Posted by Ernie B on 11 June 2018 10:33 PM
Today we completed eRAMP communication testing with the new MERS ICE Data Center. Previously, as noted in our last update, eRAMP successfully completed SFTP testing. This morning we completed XML Online Registration testing. While we were very happy to confirm eRAMP would be able to submit loans to MERS ICE Data Center the key for Cyberlink was to be able to do so with minimum impact to our clients.

That said there are only two changes that need to be made to eRAMP on the Client Setup screen (Settings>Client). The SFTP Host IP address has to be changed to the new ICE Data Center IP Address for testing and ultimately changed to the IP Address for production when you go live. The second change will be to the Online Registration URL. MERS provides two URLs for Online Registration. One for training/testing and the other for production when you go live. For specific details about IP Addresses and URLs MERS provides a document called ICE Migration Info Sheet. The ICE migration document has been distributed to MERS members and is available from MERS website. eRAMP will not require an update to communicate with the new ICE Data Center. Please be aware testing was completed using Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 operation systems. These two Windows operating systems are the only versions of Windows with the proper TLS version at the core to communicate with ICE.

What’s next; all eRAMP users should test eRAMP as soon as possible by changing the IP Address and URL using the test information provided by MERS. MERS has sent notices to all members requesting completion of testing by June 29th. Depending on how you would like to test eRAMP you could simply change the SFTP IP address and Online Registration URL in eRAMP to the test credentials. Or setup eRAMP on a separate workstation, not connected to your live version of eRAMP. If this is the case please contact support at support@oncyberlink.com for instructions or assistance.

Please visit eRAMP Client Resource Center for ICE conversion updates. If you have questions please submit a ticket through our support center at https://www.oncyberlink.com/client-resource/

Thank you,

eRAMP TLS 1.2 Update for LendingQB Integration
Posted by Ernie B on 21 May 2018 12:14 AM

eRAMP TLS 1.2 Update for LendingQB Integration

If you are a LendingQB LOS customer your eRAMP and LendingQB integration has been updated to meet current TLS 1.2 requirements. Our eRAMP seamless integration takes care of uploading MERS registration date to your loan record and our Registration Confirmation certificate to Edocs. Which means the update to TLS 1.2 does not require an update to your eRAMP software. Our end users do not have to make any changes or updates to their eRAMP or Windows operating system. Windows 8.1 and higher already support TLS 1.2 at the OS level so all eRAMP users with Windows 8.1 or higher are ready to go.

For more information about uploading MERS registration dates and Registration Confirmation Certificates to you LendingQB system visit our Cyberlink University at https://www.oncyberlink.com/cssi-university/.

If you have questions or need the password for Cyberlink U please submit a ticket through our support center at https://www.oncyberlink.com/client-resource/

eRAMP MERS ICE Migration Update #2
Posted by Ernie B on 04 May 2018 11:49 PM

Today we met with our ICE conversion specialist to test XML Online Registration and SFTP Batch processing. Communication testing was successful. The current production version all eRAMP users are using was able to login to both XML Online Registration and SFTP Batch processing. The only changes to eRAMP that are required is to update the SFTP IP address and username on the Client setting screen. The only eRAMP change required for XML Online Registration to work is to change the URL. Both XML and SFTP will required a new password to log into MERS system once the ICE conversion is ready for transaction testing.

The second step in testing was to submit a file to XML Online registration and SFTP Batch processing. XML was unsuccessful do to a configuration issue in Cyberlink’s user profile. ICE will research the error and make the necessary changes to Cyberlink’s profile so we can re-test next week. SFTP processing was successful submitting a transaction file and receiving confirmation.

What’s next; as soon as ICE confirms the profile correction to Cyberlink’s profile we will retest submitting a file through the XML Online Registration system. Next step testing for SFTP is to confirm eRAMP receives the consolidated transaction report for transaction reconciliation. Timing to complete testing for the next two tests will be based on ICE’s test schedule. We will let our users know the results as soon as the test have been completed.

Our key concerns were if eRAMP would be able to connect using the new ICE communications setup and if not, what programming changes would be required. Our technicians felt there would be no programming changes required to make the initial connection and today’s tests confirmed they were correct.

Please visit eRAMP Client Resource Center for ICE conversion updates. If you have questions please submit a ticket through our support center at https://www.oncyberlink.com/client-resource/

Thank you,

eRAMP Support Team
